group actions


How much of the social behavior of our publicly deliberate group actions are the result of expressed goals of our conscious actions and how much of these coherent actions are the result of after the fact justification, even if mostly unconscious, of past behavior is open to question. The early humanist Marx balances out Weber nicely here. The end result is the study of history helps understand the current tensions but solutions to future problems.
