It is time to study history to look for inspiration. We all have our heroes.

The American dissentients have a proud tradition.

My spiritual grounding is left wing of the Socialist Party of America during the first two decades of the Twentieth Century.

The Industrial Workers of the World from their found in 1905 to 1924 when internal division reduced them to a shadow of their former selves.

The Communist Party USA during both the third period and the Popular Front 1928 till 1939.

Finally the Henry Wallace, Glen Taylor Presidential campaign, the last hurrah of the anti-anti-communists, before American collapsed into the comatose dark ages of the Cold War, from which we would never fully recover.
