Church was to regain these youth they would need to merge these two worlds. Humanism and the message of Christ.

 

Beginning with the merger of revolutionary Marxism and class struggle with the Christian concerns for the poor led to primacy of the poor  Siding with the poor against the rich. Soon however environmental issues, gender relations ethnic issues were thrown into the mix to create an expanded Liberation Theology.
