The Latin American Church was forced to deal with life and
death issues like poverty. Remember Archbishop Oscar Romero? Also if the
message is love why are some people obsessed with who another person loves and
wants to share that love with. Is the issue really so simple as we don’t want
to deal with poverty and world hunger as we might have to do something about it?
