Catholics need to reexamine their relationship with the
Vatican
There seems to be two Churches:
1. The Church that supported medieval authority, Franco in
Spain and Mussolini in Italy and a return to a time when the Church was the
problem.
2. Then there is Church of civil rights, democracy, speaking
through the poor and disenfranchised. Accepting and celebrating the poor, the
gays, women, the oppressed and the forgotten which is to empower the powerless
in this life.
As an outsider I must admit confusion
